Year Five’s Visit to Stanley Head

This week, Year Five have enjoyed an adventurous visit Stanley Head to develop their mountaineering skills. Throughout the day, they completed climbing, abseiling and orienteering challenge. To their credit, they all demonstrated fantastic team work and a super growth mindset.  

Nursery’s First Sports Day 

The children had a fantastic time on Wednesday, competing in their first sports day. They all did amazingly well and completed a sprint, an obstacle course, the bean bag race and the teddy on the tray race. Well done Nursery, you superstars!

Athletics in Year Five

This half term in Year Five, our P.E. has been focused on athletics. We have been training in a range of events from the sprint to the egg and spoon. Each week the children have been implementing their maths skills to record their times/scores and taking a weekly average.
