Safeguarding

Hillside Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We ensure consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support children, families and staff at school.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mrs K Schonau.
Our Deputy Safeguarding Lead (D-DSL) is Mrs J Rushton.

Should neither staff member be available, any member of our Senior Leadership Team will be happy to talk to you.

Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy operates in conjunction with many other school policies including but not exclusively Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).
