Gymnastics in Year Two

The children have been working hard in gymnastics with Dan. They have progressed onto using larger equipment in their lessons and are building on their skills learnt in the Autumn Term.

Year One’s Gymnastics

Year One have been practising their gymnastics skills, working hard to create sequences with jumps, rolls and balances! Every week their confidence and skills increase and it is wonderful to witness their focus when working in their PE lessons! 🏆  

Year Four PE

Year Four enjoyed practising and applying their games skills in PE this week when involved in a range of invasion games. Excellent team work and defending!  

Gymnastic sequences in Reception

This term, Reception are building a sequence using a range of gymnastics movements. This week they have put together a sequence that includes a jump, roll and straddle. Well done Reception.  

Invasion games in Year Five

The children are focusing on invasion games within their P.E sessions this half term. They worked on their communication skills as they exchanged the ball in specific patterns using learnt techniques.

PE in Nursery

Last week, the children were playing a game in PE that focussed on recognising body parts. The children did a fantastic job identifying their own arms, legs, head, knees and then enjoying a little competition with their partner of winning the cone! Great work Nursery.
