Exploring the Battle of Marathon in Year Five

This week in our history lesson, Year Five have used a series of sources to explain just why the Athenians managed to overcome a much larger Persian army during the battle of the Marathon. Once we had explored the sources, we unlevelled an existing historical explanation with greater information and detail.

Remembrance in Reception
