Year 4 have been developing their historical research skills during Tuesday afternoon’s archaeological dig. They have carefully unearthed Celtic artefacts and thought about what each one can tell us about life during this time in history…before the invasion of the Romans!  

What an amazing experience we had! From meeting Samuel Pepys, pulling down houses with fire hooks, making marzipan treats and dressing as Stuarts we had a wonderful day from start to end! Ask your child if they can remember what Samuel buried underground to save from the fire! 🔥
