Reception Forest School

Reception have had a lovely time in the woods on Wednesday. The sun was shining and we spotted the first signs of Spring. We also enjoyed making pretend fires, playing hide and seek and telling stories in the story time area.  

Year 3/4 Forest schooling continues…

We really enjoyed being out in the sunshine on Monday, hunting for mini beasts. We were quite surprised at what we found hidden away under logs, decaying leaves and in dead tree trunks. Our free time allowed us to explore the woods, play hide and seek and build our own den.

Active Literacy Club

The Active Literacy club got off to a great start yesterday. Our group of Year 1 and 2 girls went on a safari adventure. Here they are building a river which they then had to cross to rescue the monkeys.

Forest School – Reception Class

Reception have been retelling the story of the Little Red Hen in the woods today. Here they are pretending to be the cow, the rat and the cat out of the story. We used our storytelling board to help us remember the words.

Book Bench Update

Our book bench is looking fantastic thanks to the lovely handprints of our children. We are now at the point where we can begin painting the front of the bench after half term.
