Year Four: The digestive system

We had an amazing time recreating the digestive system using a range of equipment. Our food entered the ‘mouth’, travelled downtown the ‘oesophagus’, into the ‘stomach’ and through the ‘intestines’ before leaving our digestive system through the ‘anus’.

PSHE in Year One

In PSHE we have taken part in an online lesson about healthy eating. We tasted different foods and then watched them being cooked in a healthy meal. Ask us what we thought about the tasting – we tried onion, halloumi, spinach and ginger! 🍱

Year Three and our thesaurus.

We learnt to up level and improve our choice of words with a thesaurus. From now on, we will never say ‘I’m hungry’ again. We will use famished, ravenous or starving instead!

Nursery’s PE lesson

This week the children have been practising their jumping skills in PE. They have been jumping from spot to spot with both feet together. We also practised navigating space, moving around the room without bumping into our friends!  

Year Four teeth

The children have been learning about the different teeth types and their functions. Using play-doh, they made models of the different teeth and researched the jobs that they do.
