Roman food tasting in Year Four

Year Four have spent the afternoon tasting a range of foods that the Romans would have eaten, in preparation for designing a new Roman bread roll. What a shame I missed  some of their facial expressions when tasting olives and figs!😊

A busy week in Year Two

Year Two have worked hard this week in a number of subjects. At the start of the week, they combined their PSHE learning with their computing learning as they discussed the emotions involved with staying safe online. Later in the week, they thought about British habitats in science and grouped animals accordingly.

Children in Need Year Five

Year Five have enjoyed several activities to recognise Children in Need Day today. This morning they each made bookmarks inspired by Pudsey and this afternoon they engaged in a Children in Need based board game. The children all enjoyed playing the board game which relied on them implementing key maths skills to earn points.  

The Duck Race in Year Two

After lunch time today, the children in Year Two tuned in to watch Children In Need’s Annual Duck Race. They picked who they wanted to win and watched in anticipation as the ducks crossed the finishing line! Afterwards, they created their own duck and Bobby and Riley shared their super Children In Need pledges.
