Year Four Researchers

Year Four have been researching using secondary sources to find out about food chains. They understand producers and consumers and can link their knowledge to herbivores, omnivores and carnivores.

The Christmas Story in Nursery

This week, the children have been learning about the Christmas story, they have listened to the story’s, practised singing their Christmas songs for the church that tell us about the birth of Jesus and they have used the nativity scene to retell the story. Well done nursery!

Computing in Year Five

Singing in Year Two

In music, the children have been practising their singing in preparation for our Christmas Showcase. The children have done a brilliant job at learning the songs, the technical vocabulary around singing and of course, the actions!

Types of learning in Year Three

In PSHE, the children have been learning about how we learn. They could be visual, auditory or kinaesthetic learners. The children also had a go at planning their own short lesson and discussed the impact behaviour has on learning.

Speaking French in Year Four

The children have been talking to each other about the weather in French. They had to describe the weather from the weather map of France and their partner had to decide whether it was ‘Oui or Non’, depending if the description was true or false. We have some super French accents developing too! Tres bien!
