Key Stage 2 Sports Day Cancelled 29th June

With regret we have cancelled tomorrow afternoon’s KS2 Sports Day due to the unsafe condition of the school field as it is wet and slippy following the rain over the last couple of days.  Time and weather permitting will try to reschedule before the end of term.

Go Wild Forest School

Yesterday at Go Wild Forest School we have played some woodland games “bat & moth”  “palm tag” “1,2,3 Where are you?” & “Sticky-feet”; made some blobsters from clay; searched for insects & identify what type of insect it is & we’ve also done a scavenger hunt!

School Council Assembly

The school council lead assembly this morning. They talked about how to be hygienic in school as this was an issue raised by the children themselves. The children learnt some amazing facts about germs and how to prevent spreading them.

Y6 Stanley Head

Y6 Awards Evening

Thank you to the children, parents, staff and governors who attended our Year 6 Awards Evening on Tuesday night. We have received lots of lovely feedback – it was a fantastic night celebrating the hard work and achievements of our Year 6 pupils.

Please note that this afternoon’s sports event is cancelled due to the unsafe conditions as the grass is wet and slippy following this morning’s rain.  Weather permitting we will go ahead at the same time of 1.30pm next Thursday, 29th June.
