The children are thoroughly enjoying celebrating being awarded the Reading Gold Award today. They are devouring the ice creams and sharing their favourite books out in the sunshine. ☀️

Year Three had a challenge on Friday afternoon: they had to make small structures to survive earthquakes using spaghetti and marshmallows! Their structures then were tested through vigorous jelly shaking – and many of them survived! 🌏  

Congratulations to these children who have completed the Better Reading Partnership! They have spent the last ten weeks working with teaching assistants in school to improve their reading pace, fluency and comprehension skills and have worked hard with their parents at home. Well done for making great progress!
