KS2 have enjoyed their visit from Mr Mosedale and Mr Lycett from Key Strings. As always, the show was very entertaining and had the children in fits of laughter. The children have loved learning about instruments and history through the use of music and all left the hall with beaming smiles.

Our EYFS children are enjoying playing on the new flooring which was laid under our canopy area during our inset day. It is lovely and bright and transforms the area. Staff are now busy shopping for new furniture and toys to complete the transformation.

Yesterday, Year 4 enjoyed tasting food that the Romans ate. Most of us agreed that the honey was delicious and that the olives were disgusting. For the rest of the week we will be researching and designing our own Roman bread and will be adding our favourite food from the food tasting to our recipes.

Over the next two weeks the children in Year 1 will chose a library book to take home to read or share. The children will be given the opportunity to change their library book weekly, however they are welcome to keep them a little longer if they wish. We hope they enjoy the experience of […]
