Key Strings Assembly – KS2

KS2 have enjoyed their visit from Mr Mosedale and Mr Lycett from Key Strings. As always, the show was very entertaining and had the children in fits of laughter. The children have loved learning about instruments and history through the use of music and all left the hall with beaming smiles.

Community Fund Award

Four representatives from our School Council went to Baddeley Green Working Men’s Club last night to find out the result of their bid… they were successful! The panel were very impressed with their presentation and hard work, alongside the rest of the school council. Well done!

Nail paint should only be clear if worn. Long hair should be tied back. Hair accessories should be minimal, plain and in school colours. New flooring in EYFS

Our EYFS children are enjoying playing on the new flooring which was laid under our canopy area during our inset day. It is lovely and bright and transforms the area. Staff are now busy shopping for new furniture and toys to complete the transformation.

Food tasting in Year 4

Yesterday, Year 4 enjoyed tasting food that the Romans ate. Most of us agreed that the honey was delicious and that the olives were disgusting. For the rest of the week we will be researching and designing our own Roman bread and will be adding our favourite food from the food tasting to our recipes.
