On Monday, Mrs Ashton held an assembly about Lent. The children learned the meaning of Lent and why Christians adhere to this practice. We thought about what we could give up for 40 days and how difficult if would be and we also discussed how nice it would be to think of 40 acts of kindness, one for each day of Lent, that we could share with others. Ask your children what their act of kindness was today.
