Minibeast Artwork in Reception

This week, Reception have been getting creative with some caterpillar and butterfly artwork. We have been experimenting with a range of techniques including fixing different materials together for collage and painting, then folding paper to make beautiful symmetrical butterflies.

Daddy’s treats in Nursery

Nursery’s Amazing Art

This week the children have had a selection of paint and using thin paintbrushes have been working very hard to paint a picture of a train. We had some lovely designs and lots of rainbow coloured trains, we were so impressed with their concentration while they completed their paintings. Well done Nursery!

Reception’s visit to St Philip & St James’s church

As part of our RE learning about special places, Reception visited the local church in Milton, where we went in a treasure hunt to find lots of the special features that you might find in a Christian church. The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learned lots of new facts.
